There are also many modifications and props that can be used to make yoga more accessible for those who are less flexible. For example, using blocks, straps, and blankets can help to support the body in postures and make them more comfortable.

In Motion Dance Academy centre we do provide all the necessary yoga props that you might need, like yoga mats, blocks, straps, bolsters... However, if you wish, you can invest in a few key items that may enhance your practice. A good yoga mat, blocks, straps, and blankets can help you maintain proper alignment and prevent injuries. Wear comfortable, cotton unisex dhoti pants or stretchy, preferably non-slip clothing that will allow you freedom of movement.

Always start slow and listen to your body

Yoga is not a competition, and it's essential to listen to your body and take things slowly. Begin with a few basic poses and gradually build up your practice over time. Don't push yourself too hard, especially if you're new to yoga. It's better to start slow and build up gradually than to risk injury.
